- Racial and Social Justice
Focus Area – Racial and Social Justice
“Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.
We are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny.
Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly.”
– Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Racial equity has been an issue in the United States since its inception. In 2020, with the murder of George Floyd, in the midst of the Covid crisis, we added the elimination of racism to our philanthropic initiatives. This extends our activity around social justice to include being accomplices to help eliminate racism in America.
